Sometimes stop off here after I have been collecting bait in the mud alongside the river Adur. The pub has a small garden accessable from the road.
Every year or so there is a mini beer festival. This years, (1998) was in April and featured around 80 different beers, on sal over a long weekend. Inside is all 'olde worlde' with low beams and whitewashed plaster. The beer is good as is the food. Sitting outside of a summers evening, you can smell the salt tang of the river Adur flowing by just over the road. Food is available at all times, quality between normal pub fare and restaurant. |
